Hi! Welcome to my blog! I am so glad you are here!

I was a first grade teacher for 5 years. Then the best day of my life happened and my sweet baby girl was born! I went on an extended maternity leave for almost 2 years. During that time, I started a creative blog where I shared DIY and crafty projects. I found that I absolutely loved blogging.

I am headed back to the classroom so I thought I would combine the best of both worlds. That is when The Polka Dot Apple was born!
